In the valleys near to the winery, grow ancient 400-year-old trees that line natural water paths that formed over millennia. The vineyard makes wine that reflect the powerful stature and graceful elegance of these ancient Kings.

Coby Ladwig, one-half of Kings Landing Wines, has always been interested in wine. Growing up in Denmark, Western Australia, Coby was exposed to the wine industry at a young age. Studying Viticulture and Oenology at Curtin University in Perth, WA, he graduated with an eagerness to explore the potential his hometown cool climate region could offer. Working at various wineries throughout his career (and picking up some awards along the way!), Kings Landing has become one of his successful boutique projects.

Luke Eckersley, the second half of Kings Landing Wines, was born and bred a Great Southern lad.  Being raised in Western Australia, Luke has always had a passion for Aussie wines.  Studying Oenology and Viticulture at Curtin University, WA in 2002 and travelling through Europe and the US, Luke has been able to grow and develop his wine knowledge both locally and internationally.  Back home in WA, he has worked on several boutique projects.

Both Coby and Luke have participated in award winning labels across the Great Southern region, including Rockcliffe and Rosenthal.
